Bower Power Hour Focuses on our Offroad Land Fight
Episode Guests: Poly Performance and Synergy Manufacturing Dave Schlossberg, Cantina for the Con Chris Cowan, and Quiet Warrior Racing Don Amador
MESA, ARIZONA JANUARY 5, 2015: Bower Power Hour has always strove to adequately represent every facet of the off-road and racing community, this includes the world of land use. To accommodate the plentiful land use issues, topics, and speakers, Bower Power Hour has a designated time slot for land use issues in every other episode it produces. This provides safe and attentive audiences for land use groups to talk about the real issues facing the off-road community and provide ideas for the community to get involved, while also hearing positive stories of success.
This week’s Bower Power Hour guests are Poly Performance and Synergy Manufacturing owner Dave Schlossberg and Cantina for the Con organizer Chris Cowan. Then, founder of Quiet Warrior Racing Don Amador joins the final land use segment of Season 1. Dave tells us about his balancing act as he shuffles between his two companies, and how he developed each one to meet a specific need; and Chris gets us all fired up about the Rubicon Trail Foundation and tacos at the Cantina for the Con. Then Don tells us about all the good that’s going on in the complicated world of land use policy.
“There is a lot of work that goes into the land use side of the off-road world. I don’t think too many people know how much work it actually takes, or how to get started doing land use work. Bower Power Hour has been able to provide a great outlet for groups to tell their stories and give folks ideas on how to be helpful,” said Charlene Bower, Host and Executive Producer. “It was impressive to hear Dave’s story on how he took a business out of his house into a multiline production. Then, if you haven’t been to the Cantina for the Con, it’s worth your time if you are a Rubicon lover. Lastly we had Don talking about exactly what I was hoping would come out of the land use segment – discussions about positive things happening in the land use fights today!”
