Enthusiast Interaction Encouraged By Submitting Questions for Guests
MESA, ARIZONA JUNE 30, 2015: Bower Power Hour is a weekly, two hour news show dedicated to Motorsports, Powersports, and the outdoor, off-road lifestyle. Bower Power Hour gives you an in depth look at racers, events, businesses and other aspects to bring you the nitty-gritty news of the off-road lifestyle that we all love. “We have awesome print magazines in our industry right now, the internet outlets are all working great and the offroad produced TV shows playing have a set storyline and script. There really isn’t anything that has a voice where someone can call and have breaking news or develop their story. I realized that there was a hole and that we needed to fix it,” said Charlene, Host and Executive Producer, on the first episode of Bower Power Hour.
Hosted by Charlene Bower, owner of Bower Motorsports Media, the guest lists will be extensive and energetic from all aspects of the off-road industry. The stories will be fun and filled, with in-depth conversations about technology and innovation. Laughing and learning are our goals here at Bower Power Hour!
Enthusiasts and fans are encouraged to interact with the guest by submitting questions at the BPH website. Submitted questions will be entered into a Powerball Game. Selected questions will be answered on air and the lucky fan who asked it will be sent a BPH gift pack in the mail. Be sure to fill in all the mailing information and tshirt sizes correctly. Check the website regularly to see who we are currently taking questions for. http://www.bowerpowerhour.com/powerball
The creation of Bower Power Hour started months ago, when a radio station in need of a new show approached Charlene about starting an off-road news show. Initially Charlene turned the station down since Bower Motorsports Media already had quite a bit on its’ plate. Coincidentally an online TV station approached Charlene in search of something similar: an up to date, current, off-road news show. Again, she turned them down due to the workload at Bower Media. Over the next couple months, both parties continued to call Charlene and each time Charlene sincerely declined. So then, what happened that made Charlene change her mind? Charlene received an awesome opportunity in February and, like all marketing folks, she took the opportunity and put a media plan together. Realizing that there was no where she could reach out to tell her story about the opportunity, she began to research, plot, and pull a marketing plan together for a new off-road news show. The industry deserves an unscripted voice and fans deserve breaking news about the off-road world. Business plans were made, equipment was purchased, and the Bower Power Hour studio was assembled.
All of this has led Bower Power Hour to where it is today; we are producing an off-road news show complete with guest racers, companies, and event promoters from the industry. We have land use and tech professionals and an opportunity for enthusiasts to participate with the show. Our national partners including BFGoodrich Tires, Discount Tire and Kicker have made the initial opportunity possible.
The show can either be watched or listened to. Bower Power Hour is located on Autowerkz TV Internet TV, YouTube, Vimeo, multiple podcast outlets, radio stations and multiple off-road internet outlets. If you have a specific outlet you would like it to appear on, please contact Charlene to arrange.

Charlene Bower, founder of Bower Motorsports Media, took her very first job changing tires in a motorcycle shop. From there she went on to be a part of the management team of some nationally recognized multi-line powersports dealerships. After over 10 years in motorcycle retail management, it was time for a change. Putting 6 months aside to experience life as never before, she hooked up her truck to her trailer and wandered from ride spot to ride spot making up for lost weekends on her dirt bike and quad. While on the road, she found the love of photography and writing. When a private multi-line magazine company approached her to be a part of their sales team, it turned into the perfect match. The next few years were based around sales and relationship building, while learning the in’s and out’s of the media world, specifically in the Sand and UTV Markets. When the economy dropped severely and effected the magazine business, Charlene looked for the niche that needed filling. It didn’t take long to evaluate that quality PR to the media for needed content was in order. She works daily to consistently refine the process as the world of media has revolved quite drastically in the five years since opening Bower Motorsports Media. The company has grown to include different properties, all with media and marketing as the core to their creation, including: Racer Marketing School, Race Team Store, I’m Not Just a Girl, Bower Media Promo Gifts, Shirt & Swag Club, Shirt & Bling Club,#InspirationalDirt, Month of Cause, Offroad Newswire and now Bower Power Hour. The Bower Media team is in the backdrop to some of the most successful racers, events and companies in the 4×4 market. It is normal to find Charlene at offroad events every weekend working to get the shots and the stories to bring the love of motorsports back to those that can’t be there.
