Big Rubbers 4×4 Club is a PA state registered Non-Profit Organization headquartered in Windber, PA. They are a family orientated club dedicated to promote safe and fun four wheeling. The club welcomes members of any driving ability. All that is required is following all safety rules and bringing the right attitude to the trail. The most important thing is that everyone HAS FUN! Their on-trail rules are basically to use common sense. The group follows the “Tread Lightly” policy, as all Off-Roaders should.
The club is comprised of 3 divisions:
1.) The Show team (competition show & shine vehicles)
2.) The Off-Road team (anything that has to do with Off-Roading)
3.) The ATV team (if you just want to get out and ride your quad along with us).
Throughout the years members have competed in various show & shine competitions, off road competitions, and just general trail rides all over the state. Big Rubbers 4×4 Club has a wide variety of vehicles and individuals whom represent the club in a positive manner.
The group has become well known for their charity actions around Thanksgiving where they donate turkey to the less fortunate. The group also helps with the organization and execution of the local “Toys for Tots” drive around Christmas, as well as just preforming charitable acts for the locals.
Their work has actually helped open doors for the group, resulting in their ability to purchase a 200-plus acres parcel of land. Big Rubbers Custom 4×4 Club has the hopes of eventually being able to turn the land into an actual off-road park.
The Big Rubbers Custom 4×4 Club inc. exists to bring members together for family-oriented fun and the enjoyment of natural surroundings. The Big Rubbers Custom 4×4 Club Inc. shall work in concert with other groups and organizations for the purpose of maintaining and keeping open existing trails, organizing events both for Off-Road and Show. The club participates in other activities, such as attending charity fund raisers, hosting our own events to raise monies for charitable purposes, educating youths about the recreations that are enjoyed today.
